Best Elite Four Team in Pokemon Unbound
To create the perfect team for Pokemon Unbound’s Pokemon League, we need to consider the typing and specialties of the Elite Four, as well as your rival’s Pokemon.
- Elite Four Moleman – Ground Type
- Elite Four Elias – Ghost Type
- Elite Four Arabella – Fairy Type
- Elite Four Penny – Dragon Type
Garchomp

You have three starters to choose from in Pokemon Unbound: Gible, Beldum, and Larvitar. This best team is built around what we considered being the best starter, Gible.
When it evolves into Garchomp, this Pokemon becomes an unstoppable offensive weapon.
Thanks to its insane attack stats and high speed, it can sweep through opponents fast.
But this team is taking care of the Elite Four and Champion.
Recommended Moveset:
- Earthquake – STAB and hard-hitting against Ground-weak foes.
- Dragon Claw – Strong STAB, super effective against Penny’s Dragon-types.
- Iron Head/Poison Jab – Covers Fairy types.
- Crunch – Deals with Elite Four Elias’s Ghost-type team.
This Garchomp is a full-on physical sweeper who can take on all Elite Four and destroy your rival in the final battle. A trustee partner, indeed.
Greninja

This Pokemon will take some work to obtain, but trust me when I say that it obliterates opponents in the Pokemon League.
Greninja is a Dark and Water-type who counters all of Moleman’s Ground types and Elias’s Ghost types and outspeeds them. Its ability is Protean, which turns every attack into a STAB move, so you hit like a truck. CONSISTENTLY!
Recommended Moveset:
- Hydro Pump/Surf – Strong STAB move against ground types.
- Dark Pulse – Destroys Ghost-types.
- Ice Beam – Covers Penny’s Dragons. Another STAB again with Protean.
- Grass Knot – Hits bulky Water-types like Quagsire and Gastrodon
Greninja can be obtained as an egg from the Egg Lady in Magnolia Town Day Care after getting your last badge. It may take several attempts and late-game grinding, but I promise you he is worth every step.
If you don’t want to go through all that trouble, just go with a Gyarados and destroy Moleman with a standard Gyarados set.
Scizor

Scizor is your answer to Arabella’s Fairy types. Its Bug/Steel typing makes it a nightmare in her fairytale.
Its priority move and Technician-boosted moves make Scizor a speedy and hard-hitting Pokemon that can secure KOs quickly.
Recommended Moveset:
- Bullet Punch – Technician-boosted priority move that crushes Fairy types.
- X-Scissor – Strong STAB move against Psychic and Dark-types.
- Swords Dance – Boosts Attack for sweeping potential.
- Superpower – Covers Steel- and Rock-types.
You can catch a Scyther in Redwood Village by head-butting trees. You can evolve Scyther with a Metal Coat.
Weavile

Weavile is a sneaky and fast attacker that demolishes Penny’s Dragon-types and Jax’s Salamence.
Its Ice/Dark typing makes him the perfect counter to Dragon and Ghost types, aka Penny and Elias’s entire teams.
Recommended Moveset:
- Icicle Crash – Strong STAB move that obliterates Dragon-types.
- Knock Off – Provides STAB and removes held items.
- Ice Shard – Priority move for clutch KOs.
- Swords Dance – Boosts Attack for sweeping potential.
Sneasel is very easy to find across Borrius’ icy areas. To evolve it, you just need to make it hold a Razor Claw and level it up at nighttime.
Infernape

Infernape rounds out the team with a mix of physical and special moves. It also helps counter steel types like Mega Mawile and Magnezone.
Infernape can also take care of Jax’s Magnezone and Pyroar.
Recommended Moveset:
- Close Combat – STAB move (Physical) that crushes steel and rock types.
- Flamethrower – STAB move (Special) to melt steel and grass types.
- Thunder Punch – Covers Water- and Flying-types.
- Mach Punch – Priority move for finishing off weakened foes.
Infernape is obtainable from the Dehara City Sinnoh Starter House as a gift.
Togekiss

For our final Pokemon, Togekiss is the perfect choice, as it counters Jax, especially his Mega Salamence.
Togekiss also provides crucial Fairy-type coverage against Penny’s Dragon-types. It also serves as a bulky special attacker with strong utility options, giving our team the defensive capabilities it sorely needs.
Recommended Moveset:
- Air Slash – A STAB move with a flinch chance, great for disrupting hard-hitters.
- Dazzling Gleam – Strong Fairy STAB to deal with Penny’s Dragons and Jax’s ace and Hitmontop.
- Aura Sphere – Covers Steel and Rock-types that resist Fairy.
- Roost – Roost provides longevity that our team needs.
Togekiss adds bulk, versatility, and special attack, making it a great final addition to the team.
Conclusion
And that’s the best team for beating the Elite Four and your final rival battle in Pokemon Unbound.
If you manage to rally this ultimate team, then you will undoubtedly stand at the top of Borrius as the new Champion.
It’s an offense-focused team that takes advantage of STAB and priority moves, carefully crafted to counter all your opponents in the League.
